Moody Gardens recipients of prestigious Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement

Galveston TX, April 16, 2016 – ‘Grats to Moody Gardens are in order. On April 2, Moody Gardens was presented with a Thea Award for Most Outstanding New Attraction for their innovative and interactive attraction, SpongeBob SubPants Adventure, by the Themed Entertainment Association.
SpongeBob SubPants was also the recipient of the Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement Technology Breakthrough for the Geppetto Animation Control System.

Previous recipients of this prestigious award include Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. The SpongeBob SubPants Adventure is a one-of-a-kind interactive experience that allows guests to choose their path through a wild and silly deep sea adventure that utilizes 4-D sensory elements that bring the adventure to life through scents, bubbles and bouncing balls.
