A SimEx-Iwerks solution
At SimEx-Iwerks, we thrive on challenges that inspire innovation. For Morgan's Wonderland, we used our expertise to create an inclusive 4D experience that captivates all visitors, regardless of their abilities.
We designed and installed a custom 4D theater, considering every detail. We removed 3D elements to minimize stress and installed a wall-to-wall screen for maximum visual impact. The highlight was our groundbreaking wheelchair motion platform, enabling guests in wheelchairs to enjoy the synchronized attraction with everyone else.
It’s amazing how empathy can inspire creativity. What grounded us during this project was our commitment to enhancing the standard 4D experience through cross-departmental collaboration. Surprisingly, this led to some exciting innovations.
Our engineering team developed a new wheelchair platform, while customizable control systems allowed operators to tailor effects for each show. Additionally, we designed high-impact audio-visual systems that provide clarity without overwhelming sensitivity, ensuring an inclusive and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
