How can we bring a rich 4D Experience^® like Thomas and Friends 4-D: Bubbling Boilers to the next level?

We were asked to imagine how to incorporate hands-on and interactive activities to provide an immersive experience for the whole family to enjoy with a 4-D Experience at the heart of the attraction.

Thomas and Friends is an incredible brand with millions of dedicated fans. What did our clients want out of the experience that would satisfy both the casual and super fan alike?

They told us that they wanted a tangible experience that the younger family members would enjoy. They wanted to spark the imagination with a journey to the Island of Sodor. As with any trip, photos would be shared with friends and family. There had to be activities to keep little hands busy as they waited to board the next train. The atmosphere had to be set with hints about the experience ahead.

With train station décor and theming to set the scene, interactive Thomas models and cut-out characters provide lots of opportunities for photo ops to share with friends and family.

Green screen pictures would allow even more photos with a great selection of backgrounds. Branded play panels keep the little guests engaged in the queue. Bubble blowers fill the air with bubbles and tie into the film. An optional custom pre-show allows for even more in-theater content to complement the themed interior of the attraction.

After the theater experience, a fully themed retail area awaits for that exclusive 4-D branded memento.
